I'm a 35 year old woman brought into this world on February 23rd 1971 and married to the same man for 13 years, mother to 2 hilarious, extremely handsome boys and one beautiful baby boy, who was totally NOT planned, but who turned out to be the Joy of our lives, loves to drink ice tea and hot chocolate from Starbucks. There is more to me than just being a mother, I just don't remember any of it.

..: My Poor Boy :( :..

Afzal dislocated his elbow when he wrestled with his big bro last night. We had to rush him to KKH A&E as he was screaming in pain and refused to let us touch his hand. Thank god there was no bone fracture. The doctor did engage his elbow back and my poor little boy did scream his lungs out :(

It was a nightmare for me... seeing my lil prince in pain. Alhamdullilah 5 mins after that he was seen moving his arm again and did his power ranger thingy! *haiz*..boys will still be boys!

..: Perfect Frosting :..

My first wedding cupcake was done sometime in June last year. This year June marks the first anniversary for Perfect Frosting. When the opportunity came up for me to feature my cupcakes in the Manja Magazine (June edition) I couldn't say no.

Only god knows how I am feeling right now. Things has been great in my life lately. With the present of my little prince, the love of my 2 other princes and the support of my darling hubby and family.. these had been the greatest gifts from Allah. I couldn't ask for more.

Syukur Alhamdullilah...

..: Recaps :..

Weekend : We went back to the island again. We just love the place... the kids love the place especially the pool and this time round we went with someone new in the family. I had a good R&R and bonding with the family and I didn't miss the spa thingy this time round..hehe

Yesterday : I will be going back to work in a week. I'm already sad. The thoughts of missing my 3 babies had begun to demoralise me. So I've decided to splurge myself on new shoes, new bags and new clothes to re-motivate me. And I've dragged her along for lunch and the shopping spree :)

Tomorrow : He will only turn in 4 in 17days time but he had asked to celebrate with his school friend. After a discussion with his teacher, we've decided to have it tomorrow before the school close. So I had whipped this up for him earlier... I do hope you gonna like it son...

It's not exactly how it should turn up but this is the best I can do..hehe

..: You don't OWN me (HE does) :..

You see that adorable, chubby little boy right there? The one with the adorable smirk on his face?

That little boy is The Boss of Me

He is The Boss of when I eat. If I just served a nice, hot bowl of soup and he wants the milk that he is the boss of, all he has to do is let out a little cry and I must abandon the bowl of soup soI can feed him first.

He is The Boss of when and if I may pee. If he's hungry and I have to go, I must hold it to feed The Boss first. If he's tired and I have to go, I must hold it and rock him to sleep first.

He's also The Boss of when and if I sleep at night. I thanked him today because he's been sleeping most of the night for the past 3 nights, but I know that he can change his mind anytime.
I fear The Boss.

I respect The Boss.

But mostly, I love The Boss. He's the best "Boss of Me" I've ever had, even if he does throw up on me 19 times a day.

He's also the cutest, most adorable boss I've ever had. I GLADLY work for him for free, in fact, it's a priveledge!

..: Update on Fairul Afdlin :..

My little darling is exactly 8 weeks old today. I'd like to think that Afdlin recognizes me now. He turns his head when I talk or walk by. He settles down when he hears my voice. He smiles at me, but it usually takes a lot of work to get him to smile. He doesn't really coo though. Our child is more of a grunter! He listens to me while I sing, although I tend to sing to him most when he's nursing, so he's a captive audience!

He does stare at things more intently now. He's not really interested in rattles yet. I put them in front of him & shake them, but he could care less.He's not grabbing for anything yet. He's never had the problem of waking up to play during the night. At night, he gets up to eat & then goes back to sleep (although, he may grunt & groan for awhile before he settles down!)

Afdlin is definitely more awake during the day now. He is getting so much happier with tummy time too. He really lifts himself up well, but not for very long. He still does get frustrated after awhile, so we don't do it for very long. He holds his neck/head up for a few seconds when I pick him up, but for the most part, he still has "floppy head." As for me, I think exhaustion has set in! I am definitely more tired than I was before. I'm looking forward to sleeping longer stretches at night.....

Look how much our baby has grown in 8 weeks!

..: All done :..

Alhamdullilah, I've managed to complete all orders for Mother's Day. It has been a hectic day for me for these 2 days. Just waiting for the customers to pick them up. I am now able to have my full rest this weekend and enjoy my mother's day celebration :)

..: Back in action :..

I am not denying that I really missed baking. In fact I did curi-curi and baked for some frens once or twice during confinement. This weekend I'm back in action! Here are some photos of my work and the rest are in here.

I did this for my niece's 2nd birthday. She is crazy about Hi-5 and she simply loves the cake!

Me: Oh, thank you. Is it because I'm wearing new clothes and not the same ones I've been wearing everyday?

Asyraf : It's everything, mama. It's your pants, your blouse, your cute shoes, and your makeup looks beautiful.

Me: Abang, you just made my day. Thank you!

Ayraf : Now can I have that $2.00 you promise me?

But you know what? I'll take a compliment any way I can get it these days. Seriously. If someone told me something nice, I'd get on my knees and kiss their feet...heheh

I'm in serious need of a "day of beauty". I am just glad someone told me I look beautiful.

Even if he didn't mean it.

Even if I really look like old, crusty woman.

Still.

Spending the day with a good fren was just superb. The first thing she said to me when she saw me.."cantik kau hari ni" heheh.. she did make my day too.. not because of the compliment but her company as usual. We just had so much things to talk about. Thank you friend, I really need this little break and I so very the like the lipstick ah ;)

We had Afdlin's cukur rambut yesterday. It was definitely an affair that we were looking forward to. Alhamdullilah all went well and thanks to our frens and relatives that made it to our place yesterday.
