Asyraf's school teaching the kids about Fictions / Unreal/ Fairy Tales. The kids were asked to dress in anything they like. So my man dressed into this... Oh and this one not a fiction, unreal or fairy tales. My other man gave me this... ;) Mamafai wrote @ 11:21 PM |

I'm having an "I don't want to be the mommy" day. The maid was given an off day today and dh was working so I was the only parent on duty today. I am absolutely exhausted! Recap of the day : 1) Bathed the kids. 2) Fed the kids breakfast and cleaned up the mess. 3) Afzal broke the milk container and I had to clean the mess. 4) Went through with Asyraf his spelling for tution tomorrow. 5) Heated up the food for lunch. 6) Fed the kids lunch 7) Ironed dh's shirt for his meeting. 8) Cleaned up the kids room (with the help of the monsters). 9) Helped Asyraf to find his Finding Nemo CD..took us almost 45mins! 10) While the kids were sleeping, swept and mop the living rooms (trace of coco crunch all over the room). 11) Bathed the kids in the evening. 12) Praying for bibik to come home earlier. Can you believe that I even forgot to bring in the clothes when it was raining this afternoon? (nampak sah ignorant! :P) I really do have the utmost respect for SAHM...I don't know how you guys can do these things all by yourselves daily. Like what Trina said if I become SAHM.."Boleh kurus aku!" Oh btw...had a fun dinner last fri..you can read all in her blog...will find time to upload the pics. Mamafai wrote @ 9:06 PM |

Thanks for all the birthday wishes! I had a nice one. Started with 34 smses of birthday wishes and love at midnight (guess from who?)... that doesn't include 1 from my fav niece. Following couple of smses and phone calls from love ones and friends this morning... and of course the tags from my beloved blogger frens. Dh brought me to Straits Kitchen at Hyatt for lunch - exclude the kids! Reason - he wants me to have a peaceful lunch with him :) The food were great... its definitely 90% better than Cafe Vianna. We didn't get the chance to have the desert at all cause we were too full. But they were really tempting...next time I'm there..I'll start with the desert first :) Click here for more pictures. I think we should work for 2 days and the weekend should be 5 days! Wouldn't that be fabulous? The pay would remain the same, just you know....less work! I haven't been sleeping well since Friday. It was kind of suckish. I was tired and kinda cranky. I have no idea what was waking me up at night. I thought it might be my new pillows. I love them and don't wanna give them up but I was going to have to give them up if this continues. I just figured I would get used to them. I have never in my entire life not found a pillow I didn't like. Or one that has kept me from sleeping through the night. But last night, after putting the kids to sleep...I finally slept through..I missed Desperate Housewives and even missed the alarm at 10. I am thinking it probably isn't the pillows. It is probably something else..mybe the "age"...hmmm??? Mamafai wrote @ 9:27 AM |

Asyraf has been craving for pizza for the past 2 days. So last night, we decided to bring the kids down to Sembawang. While I was uploading and looking at the pictures earlier, I've noticed that the boys have grown so much... especially Afzal. Soon there will be no more babies around the house...hmm... perhaps its about time I have another one! :P Click here to see more. Mamafai wrote @ 2:35 AM |

Would it kill you to say "Hi" to my son when he says "Hi" to you? The other day he said "Hello" 3 TIMES. While smiling up at you. And waving. And you...being the idiot that you are, totally ignored him. I want you to know how much that broke my heart. Your insensitivity literally brought tears to my eyes. Thank god I was wearing sunglasses. I had muster every ounce of restraint in my body so as to not rip you up!. The day you had your bicycle with you and Asyraf asked if he could touch it, you scooted your bike out of his reach (because you are total jerk!) and pretended like you didn't see him. I don't know why, out of everyone who lives in our flat, we always have to run into you in the elevator. No one else has a problem chit-chatting with Asyraf the 30 seconds it takes to reach the 6th floor. Humor a little kid. Or are you just too cool to talk to any man under the age of 18? If that's the case, get over yourself. You're not ALL THAT. The next time you ignore my adorable son, you're getting an earful. Mamafai wrote @ 11:28 PM |

Went in to check on the kids, and heard dh making some ridiculously loud noise. Snoring drives me crazy. It really does. It hunches my shoulders and causes me to snap necks. I can't help it. That sound penetrates my dreams and robs me of my sleep. Has for almost 12 years now. Nothing stops it. Nothing helps. We all suffer. There is no way he can be getting decent sleep either. There's just no way. Simply too loud. I was debating his demise as I walked into our room. Couldn't decide if I was going to end it quick, or make him suffer as much as his ear-wearing family members have done over the years. But as I walked over to the bed, he sat straight up with the saddest eyes I've ever seen, and asked me if it was time to go to work. I told him no, laid him back down, and kissed his head. He was snoring again before I left the room. I'll learn to love it. :) Mamafai wrote @ 11:17 PM |

Today is my dad's 65th Birthday!
I am glad that my family have a wonderful relationship with him. Through the years, dad has become the person that we always look to for advice and counsel. I am glad that we have mutual respect for one another and a solid father/daughter relationship.
I am happy that dh has this relationship with dad too. I love my dad and could not ask for a better, more doting and attentive grandfather for my children. Dad has taken great joy in the baby and toddler days of my kids. He has changed diapers, rocked a colicky baby, taken them on numerous outings and always takes the time to get down on his knee to their level and listen to what they have to say. He is an outstanding man. He did a damn fine job of helping me and my brother grow into an equally outstanding people. Thank you so much for all that you have done, dad and Happy Birthday to you!!!
